White Papers
The May 2011 publication of the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology contains an article co-authored by Freedman HealthCare’s Principal, John Freedman. Titled, “Physician performance measurement: Tiered networks and dermatology (An opportunity and a challenge)”, the authors explore identifying quality and measuring performance in the dermatological realm of healthcare. They discuss rating physicians and its proper application can support transparency and increase quality in a specialty field.
Principal John Freedman recently collaborated with Care Focused Purchasing on a white paper entitled Providers and Performance Measurement: Helping Patients and Providers , to give a framework on how performance measurement and transparency can help improve patient outcomes and support professional goals.
Freedman HealthCare provided content expertise to Brian Willison, Director of the Parsons Institute for Information Mapping as he authoried a white paper entitled Advancing Meaningful Use: Simplifying Complex Clinical Metrics Through Visual Representation.
Proposal Development
Freedman HealthCare’s grant writing clients include:
- Health Resources in Action, which received grant funding from the Maricopa County Department of Public Health, Rhode Island Department of Health, among other public and private funders as a result of our grant writing efforts.
- YWCA Malden, which received recent awards from the Greater Boston Council on Alcoholism and the Verizon Foundation to support a youth wellness program, and grants from the Susan B. Komen Foundation and the Avon Foundation for Women to support a breast cancer awareness and prevention program.
- Families for Depression Awareness, which received recent grant funding from the Bruce Anderson Foundation and the Adelaide Breed Bayrd Foundation to support their Teen Depression Program.
