RI Reconciliation Analyst

EOHHS is looking for an experienced Reconciliation Analyst to support their Data and Analytics Team. The Reconciliation Analyst will be responsible for reconciliation of reporting files to ensure accurate data is transmitted to and from state systems and federal and state authorities. This person must be a self-starter and have expertise in SQL.

Responsibilities will include the following:
     
  • Identify, research, track, and assist in resolving out-of-sync information and accounts
  • Maintain and update error tracking reports
  • Manage the discrepancy status and resolution reporting process
  • Coordinate with the maintenance team of the EOHHS technology system vendor
  • Conduct analyses to help identify the magnitude and root cause of systemic issues
  • Develop tools and/or processes to identify and correct errors
  • Triage enrollment system errors working with system vendor
  • Manage process of escalation to EOHHS leadership as necessary
  • Provide support to other state agency reconciliation processes
  • Work closely with management to prioritize business and information needs
  • Prepare and present reports of trends or patterns of reconciliation errors, resolution and escalations for management
  • Perform random sampling of vendor reconciliation actions to identify issues as needed
  • Support ad-hoc data analysis projects as needed

Project Manager (3-5 Years of Experience)

The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years of experience managing projects related to health policy, health care reform, care delivery, and/or health data strategy. Individual must also demonstrate the ability to lead people, processes, and projects; run effective meetings; and facilitate decision making in complex client environments, particularly public or private health care organizations. Knowledge of multi-payer databases and/or health insurance exchanges would be a plus. Candidates must be independent and thoughtful, with the ability to simultaneously handle multiple assignments. Candidates must be comfortable managing the day to day tasks of a project and actively engaging in the subject matter.

Project Associate (1-3 Years of Experience)

The ideal candidate will have 1 to 3 years of experience in a health care or policy environment, aptitude for learning new subject matter and complex concepts, and must possess stellar writing skills.
