Project Associate
We have a unique opportunity for a bright, self-starter to join our team to provide a range of tasks that may include:
- Conducting research, information gathering and preparing written summaries, memos or briefing documents;
- Coordinating communications within the project team and with external stakeholder groups, including scheduling meetings;
- Providing weekly and monthly progress reports to the Freedman HealthCare team and/or client as directed by each project lead;
- Preparing and revising drafts of presentations;
- Serving as the project team’s point person for the development and coordination of all phases of major deliverables, including timelines;
- Attending meetings and preparing summary notes for public distribution;
- Organizing meeting materials (prepare slide decks, brief speakers, etc) on behalf of FHC clients; and
- Tracking and monitoring progress of deliverables assigned to senior Freedman HealthCare staff.
The ideal candidate will be independent and thoughtful, with the ability to simultaneously advance and deliver content for multiple assignments. Candidates must have the ability to determine steps to completion of a deliverable and execute the plan; and will be required to manage their time and deliverables on a fixed schedule and budget. This is a perfect opportunity for someone who is early in their career, and is interested in developing their skills and growing with our firm.
Candidates must possess the following skills and qualifications:
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite (WORD, EXCEL, PPT, OUTLOOK)
- Extremely detail oriented and highly organized
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional at follow-through and task management
- BA/BS Degree and 1 to 3 years experience in a related field.
- Graduate work in a related field is desirable
This is a full-time salaried position, with benefits, based in our Newton, MA office. Some local and periodic out of state travel may be required.
