William Brandel, Ph.D. Policy Analyst. Dr. Brandel uses his experience in research, analysis, and communication to help organizations shape policy decisions. The culmination of this experience has fostered his passion for using healthcare data to support the transformation of healthcare policies and processes that enable high-quality, cost-effective delivery of care.
As a Policy Analyst, Dr. Brandel helps develop creative solutions to complex problems by identifying data sources, evaluating policy, and communicating tradeoffs and other considerations for implementation. Dr. Brandel also provides project management support to ensure timely delivery of project deliverables and ensure realistic budget management.
Dr. Brandel has conducted numerous research efforts involving various methods and subjects to provide guidance to stakeholders in healthcare, government, business, and academia. His previous roles have included business journalism, industry research and analysis, and municipal public policy. He holds a Ph.D. in Social Policy/Health Services Research from the Heller School for Social Policy and Management, Brandeis University.
