As President of Freedman HealthCare, Ms. Bernstein leads the organization's Policy and Programs, and Data Science teams, ensuring that FHC delivers practical and efficient solutions that truly work for clients. She is responsible for setting and executing FHC's business strategy while maintaining a hands-on approach to project leadership. Her experience spans diverse clients, helping them develop effective strategies and operational models for swift implementation. She partners closely with state agency clients to identify sustainable funding sources that align with state and federal priorities. Her notable accomplishments include strategic oversight of nine state-specific multi-payer claims databases and two sophisticated integrated data systems, leadership of primary care transformation initiatives, and expert guidance on value-based payment measurement frameworks.
Prior to joining FHC, Ms. Bernstein honed her expertise through leadership positions in prominent healthcare organizations, where she developed strong skills in regulatory compliance, research administration, and project management. Ms. Bernstein holds a Bachelor's degree from Tufts University and a Master's Degree in Health Services Management and Policy from the Tufts University School of Medicine.
