Vinayak Sinha, MPH
Mr. Sinha is an astute and experienced analyst of healthcare policy and strategy with a keen interest in population health. While at FHC, Mr. Sinha has used his robust analytical experience in conjunction with his policy background to develop strategies that will inform key stakeholders on ways to ensure successful delivery of affordable and sustainable care. Mr. Sinha’s experience conducting research and analysis on the implications of state health systems and Medicare and Medicaid policies has provided FHC with unique insights into improving healthcare quality, access, and cost.
Before joining FHC, Mr. Sinha served in the Finance department of Partners HealthCare Systems, Inc, where he analyzed payment policies, Medicare Innovation models, and alternative payment methods to inform risk contract and Medicare strategy management. More specifically, Mr. Sinha is proud of his work performing analytic functions to assess the inclusion of socio-economic status on the Medicare Readmissions Reduction Program. Similarly, Mr. Sinha worked to collect data and conduct analysis of rural retention of doctors while holding positions in the Planning and Management office at the World Health Organization Country Office for Sri Lanka. While at the WHO, Mr. Sinha used his analysis to develop policy framework to institutionalize a national program to appropriately distribute resources in the country and create assessment tools to strengthen resources.
Mr. Sinha holds a Master of Public Health from Boston University’s School of Public Health, focusing his studies on Health Policy and Management, and a Bachelor of Arts from Clark University.
